Senior wide receiver Davontavean Martin reportedly entered the transfer portal Monday afternoon. The news that the 6’3, 186-pound outside receiver has chosen to play his final year of college football elsewhere came a week after the Pac-12 conference announced that they would be delaying the start of the 2020 season with the hope that it will be played in the Spring.
After leading the Cougars in receiving last year, the Houma, Louisiana native will look to find a new home for his final year to put more film on the table for NFL teams. Last season, Martin had 43 receptions for 564 yards and four touchdowns to bring his career total to 143 receptions for 1,615 yards and 18 touchdowns.
