After sitting out against Colorado last week, Washington State receiver Tavares Martin Jr. will return this week against the Arizona Wildcats. It was announced last week that Martin Jr. would be suspended against Colorado for breaking one of the team rules. On Monday, Mike Leach said in his press conference that he expects the Cougars leading receiver to be back this weekend.
While Leach didn’t give a reason on the suspension it was reported by Stefanie Loh of The Seattle Times that Martin Jr. had a bad attitude after the Cougars dropped their first game of the season against California on October 13th.
