We learned pretty quickly this past season that running back Max Borghi is an incredibly talented kid as the true freshman added a dynamic weapon to the Washington State Cougars backfield.

In case you’re not great with the math, that’s a 55-yard field goal with room to spare — there were at least another five yards on that sucker. I can’t find any stories that mention Borghi kicking field goals at Pomona High School in Colorado, but he must have attempted at least one:
