Washington State landed their running back commit for the 2020 season on Monday evening when Marshawn Buchanan committed to the Cougs on Twitter. The three-star running back out of Adelanto High School in Adelanto, California chose the Cougs over Arizona.
Standing at 5-11, 190-lbs he matches what the Cougars currently have in their backfield with Max Borghi. The two have different styles of running however, Borghi does not shy away from contact and Buchanan, in his film, seems to look for the hole and beat the defense with his speed.
As a junior he tallied up 2,137 yards and 18 touchdowns on 181 carries averaging almost 153 yards per game on the ground.
