Washington State Junior first baseman Kyle Manzardo was named Pac-12 Baseball Player of the Week on Monday following a game against Seattle U and a three game series against UCLA. This is the first award of the season for the Coeur d’Alene, Idaho native and his second Player of the Week award of his career.
Manzardo finished his week with a double, two home runs, eight RBI’s, an on base percentage of .638 and a slugging percentage of 1.000. He went 8-for-15 and crossed home plate seven times. The Cougars won their lone game against Seattle U last week and the first of the three games against UCLA.
