WSU’s all-time greatest player on the hardwood Klay Thompson added to his legacy on Monday night when he set a new NBA record with 14 three pointers in one game. He broke teammate Steph Curry’s record in just 27 minutes. He ended up scoring 52 points in a little over half a game in the 149-124 Warriors win. Talk about efficient!
This is the second time that Klay has scored over 50 points in less than 30 minutes of playing time a feat that has been accomplished by exactly zero other players in NBA history. He dropped 60 points in 29 minutes in 2016.
