Washington State Hall of Fame member Keith Lincoln passed away over the weekend in his Pullman home at the age of 80. The ‘Moose of the Palouse’ played for the Cougars from 1958-60. After joining the Cougars as a quarterback originally, he would line up at running back and would punt as well.
During his time in Pullman playing for the Cougars, Lincoln’s team would go 17-12-1 and he would become the school’s all-time leading rusher with 1,501 yards. He would get in the record books as a punter as well when he averaged 43.9 yards per punt in 1959 and would finish out his career with a 40.
