Daniel Isom, who started seven games in 2019 for the Cougars before being dismissed from the team for a violation of team rules will be returning this season. Theo Lawson of the Spokesman Review confirmed on Monday that Isom will be back on the team after a few months of speculation.
When Jalen Thompson was ruled ineligible for the 2019 season, Isom stepped in and started at safety for the first five games of the season before a few changes on the depth chart happened. Midway through last season, Mike Leach and company changed up the defensive depth chart following Tracy Claeys resignation.
