HCA: Cougar tennis makes NCAA Tournament

The Washington State women's tennis team was selected to the NCAA tennis championship tournament on Monday. After a season that included being ranked in the top 15 for the first time ever and beating 10th ranked UCLA for just the second time in program history, the 34th ranked Cougars will head to Stillwater, Oklahoma to face 19th ranked Miami on May 3rd.

The winner of that game will move on to face the winner of the Oklahoma State (19-7) and Central Arkansas (20-7) match. The second round match will take place May 4th at the same location.

This is the just the 7th time they have ever made the tournament and the first time since 2012 that the Cougars will play in the 64-team tournament.
