The Washington State men's basketball team has started 6-0 and this past weekend won the Wooden Legacy Tournament with a 93-86 victory over San Diego State. On Monday, the weekly basketball AP poll was released and the Cougars found themselves with enough votes (25) to be ranked 31st. Their first time receiving votes since January 31st, 2011.
The 25 votes they received puts them ahead of Texas (22) and behind Arizona (31) UCLA (56) was the other Pac-12 school to receive votes but not be ranked in the top-25. USC and Arizona State are the only conference teams to be ranked in the top-25 at 14 and 20 respectively.
