The Washington State Cougars picked up their second surprise of signing day when wide receiver De’zhaun Stribling inked his letter of intent for the 2021 class.
Stribling, who is from Kapolei, Hawaii, was actually a member of the 2020 class, but never landed anywhere this fall. He was being recruited by then-Hawaii-now-WSU coach Nick Rolovich, who apparently maintained contact with Stribling and decided to bring him aboard in Pullman.
Stribling’s other known offers last year were Wake Forest, Hawaii, Fresno State, and San Diego State. It’s unclear, exactly, what caused him to be available this year; a quick search of Google news reveals nothing on his recruitment after last January.
