SARASOTA-BRADENTON, Fla. – Former Washington State rowers, Nicole Hare and Lisa Roman, placed second in their heat as part of Canada's women's eight crew, Tuesday, at the 2017 World Rowing Championships.
Both members of the 2016 Canadian Olympic team, Hare (Calgary, Alberta) and Roman (Langley, B.C.) are joined in the eight by fellow Olympians, Susanne Grainger, Hillary Janssens, Jennifer Martins and Christine Roper, as well as Paralympic bronze-medalist, Kristen Kit as coxswain. Kristin Bauder and Rebecca Zimmerman are also members of the eight crew.
