The Cougs are coming off of a big weekend. WSU took two out of three from their rivals on Montlake and won their first series in Seattle since 2004. Ian Hamilton was a big part of that series win. After a dominating performance on Saturday the Pac-12 rewarded him with the conference pitcher of the week award.
Today, the Cougs tried to keep that momentum rolling into their annual game in Pasco. For the third time this season, WSU met up with Gonzaga. And for the third time this season, the Cougars fell short against the Zags.
The Bulldogs pushed across four runs in the 2nd inning, including two sac flies and two doubles, to take the early 4-0 lead.
