NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (September 8, 2024) – Washington State Women's Golf opened 2024-25 with a familiar face leading the way as senior Madelyn Gamble fired an opening round even par to sit in a tie for fifth after day one at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational hosted by Kentucky.
The three-round 2024 Bettie Lou Evans Invitational is hosted by the University of Kentucky at Champion Trace at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Ky. and plays as a par-72 at 6,261 yards.
WSU finished the opening day tied for fifth with Missouri at +15 in the 11-team field and just one stroke behind Indiana for fourth.
