SEATTLE, Wash. / SPOKANE, Wash. / ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — In her first meet as a Cougar, freshman Rosemary Longisa broke a 10-year-old school record for the Women's Indoor Mile while WSU athletes secured three wins across the three meets Saturday. Additionally, 15 WSU student-athletes recorded personal bests in their respective events.

In her debut meet, Longisa didn't hold back as she raced across the finish line in 4 minutes, 41.93 seconds to win her heat. Longisa's time was nearly two seconds faster than the previous record, set by Abby Regan nearly 10 years ago in Seattle when she crossed the line in 4:43.
