PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State outfielder Daniel Fredrickson was named a Western Major League Baseball first-team All-Star after producing an outstanding summer season in the Canadian-based summer league.
Fredrickson, a sophomore-to be for the Cougars, finished fifth in the league with a .356 batting average, recording seven doubles, 20 RBI and 10 stolen bases in 40 games for the Okotoks Dawgs (Okotoks, Alberta)
Fredrickson finished his freshman campaign second on the Cougars with a .281 batting average as a freshman. The Woodinville, Wash. native scored five runs, recorded one triple, one double, three RBI and stole one base while appearing in 25 games including five starts in 2015.
