PULLMAN, Wash. (June 26, 2024) – Washington State Rowing had four named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District on Tuesday.
Fifth-Year senior Eliza Dawson, seniors Ainsley Tiernan and Sydney Wick, and junior Izabela Janecek all earned the honor. Dawson will advance as a finalist on the CSC Academic All-America ballot.
Dawson was an impactful member of the WSU 1V8 boat all season, and ended the year at the Pac-12 Championships where the eight placed fifth in 6:46.36. Earlier in the season, she helped the Cougar 1V8 win their event at the 2024 Wheeler Invitational in 6:53.
