PULLMAN, Wash. – Four different players scored for the Washington State women's soccer team (3-1-1), as it defeated University of Denver, 4-2, at Lower Soccer Field, Sunday night. WSU junior opened the scoring in the fifth minute, before , , and all added their name to the WSU scoresheet.
Just over four minutes into the match, fifth-year senior played a direct ball over the Denver back line, finding junior , who took a shot that was parried away by DU's goalkeeper, Nerea Arrazola. Detrizio jumped on the loose ball, glanced up at the goal, and placed the rebound into the bottom left corner for her fourth goal of the season and an early WSU lead.
