FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – The Washington State women's swim team completed day three of the Pac-12 Championships with four lifetime-bests and two season-bests.
Sophomore Mackenzie Duarte and senior Linnea Lindberg made it back to finals in the 100 breast after stellar performances in the preliminary rounds. After posting a 1:02.28 in the preliminary round, Lindberg came back later in the evening to post a 1:01.85 to garner 18th place. Duarte, a Walnut Creek, Calif. native, dropped a hundredth of a second during the finals to finish with a 1:02.21 for 22nd.
The 400 medley relay team of sophomore Taylor McCoy, Lindberg, and freshmen Emily Barrier and Keiana Fountaine clocked the third-fastest time this season for the Cougars, touching the wall in 3:46.
