Four Cougar Swimmers to Compete in International Meets

PULLMAN, Wash. (June 30, 2023) – Four Washington State women's swimmers are set to compete in international competitions this summer.

Three current Cougars have been selected to compete at the World University Games in China as Noelle Harvey and Emily Lundgren will represent Team USA while Dori Hathazi will swim for Team Hungary. Incoming freshman Mira Szimcsak will represent Team Hungary at the World Championships in Japan (July 15-20).

Harvey and Lundgren are among 18 athletes selected for the women's team who will represent Team USA at The World University Games in Chengdu, China that was initially scheduled to run in August 2021, but was postponed multiple times due to the pandemic and will now run from July 28 – August 8, 2023.
