Washington State Track and Field stars Forrest Shaffer and Dominique Keel have been named two of the 23 winners of the Pac-12 postgraduate scholarship award. The award, which is given to two athletes from each Pac-12 school, awards $9,000 to each student towards their postgraduate studies.
The award is given to a male and a female student athlete from each school every year. In order to qualify for this award each student must have maintained a 3.0 GPA, completed their eligibility in sports or be in their final year of eligibility, be accepted to or enrolled in a postgraduate program, was a distinct member of their sport, and went above and beyond what is required for a Pac-12 student athlete.
