OK, it’s definitely way too early to anoint anyone as the second coming of Washington State’s unanimous All-American offensive guard Cody O’Connell, whose nickname is “The Continent.”
However the Cougars’ newest commit, Nick Lewis, an offensive tackle from The Bolles School in Florida, is almost as big as O’Connell.
Per his Scout.com recruiting profile, Lewis checks in at 6-foot-9 and weighs 348 pounds. O’Connell, WSU’s starting left guard, is listed at 6-foot-9, 368 pounds.
Lewis, who is rated a three-star prospect by Scout.com, committed to WSU Sunday afternoon. He picked the Cougars over a long list of offers that included Kentucky, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Auburn and Cincinnati.
