Florida DB Zaire Webb commits to WSU Cougars

Washington State has plucked another recruit out of the talent-rich state of Florida. Fletcher High (Neptune Beach, Fla.) defensive back Zaire Webb committed to the Cougars on Monday morning in a tweet that announced “Extremely blessed and excited to announce my verbal commitment to Washington State University” along with an image of a Coug football player with “WEBB” and the number “9” on the back of a crimson jersey.

Webb is rated a three-star prospect by Scout.com, and he lists himself as 6-foot-1, 180 pounds on his Twitter bio. He picked WSU over an offer list that included North Carolina, Central Michigan, Ohio and Southern Miss, and runs a 4.
