SAN FRANCISCO – Following a year in which the Huskies tallied the fewest wins in the history of the program, expectations outside the Washington women’s basketball team are predictably low heading into the 2018-19 season.
For the second straight year, Pac-12 coaches picked UW last in a preseason poll – a prediction that proved accurate last season.
“It sucks,” senior guard Jenna Moser said. “No one wants to hear that, but it’s not something you can get fixated on. That’s where you’ll dig yourself a hole if you fixate on it.
“It’s something that needs to motivate us because that doesn’t feel good.
