Evans Kurui and Zenah Cheptoo put up impressive performances at the NCAA National Championships

MADISON, Wisc. – Zenah Cheptoo and Evans Kurui competed at the NCAA National Cross Country Championships at Thomas Zimmer Championship Course. Cheptoo finished 47^th and Kurui finished 36^th in their respective races. Kurui's finish was good enough for him to earn All-American status.

In the women's 6K race, Cheptoo finished in 47^th with a time of 20:08.5. Through the first two kilometers, Cheptoo kept close to the front of the pack, fighting to be in the top 25. At the halfway point, she climbed into the top 20.
