PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State's Eva Alvarez Sande posted her biggest win of the season, but it was Cal that came away with the team victory in a 6-1 win over the Cougars Saturday at the WSU Outdoor Tennis Courts. Following the match, WSU moved to 10-10 on the season, 1-8 in Pac-12 play, while Cal improved to 16-4, 8-1.
In the feature match at No. 1 singles, Alvarez Sande led from start to finish as she was dominant in posting a 6-3, 6-0 win over Hannah Viller Moeller, ranked 39th in the most recent poll.
