Washington State Cougars freshman wide receiver Drue Jackson has announced his intention to transfer, via Twitter.
Jackson was a composite three-star recruit in the 2018 class out of Sachse, Texas, but Rivals.com rated the 6-foot-1/180-pounder as a four-star recruit and one of their top 250 recruits in the nation. He was on track to redshirt this year, given the glut of talented receivers on the roster.
And therein most likely lies the rub. The opportunities were almost certain to be limited for Jackson for at least the next year: Tay Martin, Calvin Jackson Jr.
