If I asked you who the Washington State Cougars’ best receiver is, I’m honestly not sure how many of you would reflexively say Dezmon Patmon. After all, Patmon wasn’t even the starter at “Z” to begin the season — that honor belonged to Easop Winston Jr. And through the first third of the season, he very clearly was the third option outside, behind both Winston and Tay Martin, the starter at “X.”
But Patmon has steadily become a more important cog to the offense, to the point where it might be time to call the big man WSU’s best receiver.
