MINNESPOLIS, Minn. – Dartmouth College captured two three-set victories to get past Washington State, 5-2, in the championship match of the Courtside Classic, hosted by Minnesota, Sunday at the Baseline Tennis Club.
Dartmouth started fast in doubles and captured the opening point. At No. 1, the Cougar duo of and never got going as Dartmouth's Taylor Ng and Kristina Mathis cruised to a 6-0 victory. At No. 3 Dartmouth's Lexxi Kiven and Jacqueline Crawford rode an early break of serve to a 6-3 win over and , clinching the doubles point.
