DALLAS, Texas –Washington State left tackle Joe Dahl was named to the Outland Trophy Watch List, the Football Writers Association of America announced Friday.
The Outland Trophy is given annually to the nation’s top interior lineman. Dahl is one of 13 players from the Pac-12 Conference included on the 81-player list. WSU defensive tackle Rien Long won the award in 2002, also garnering first team All-America honors while leading the Cougars to the 2003 Rose Bowl.
Dahl, a redshirt-senior, earned All-Pac-12 honorable mention last season after starting all 12 games at left tackle for the nation’s top passing offense.
