PULLMAN, Wash. – Quarterback Cameron Ward threw for 259 yards and a score while running backs Jaylen Jenkins and Nakia Watson each added two touchdowns to lead the Crimson squad to a 42-14 victory over the Gray in Washington State's annual Crimson and Gray Game Saturday afternoon at Gesa Field.
In front of crowd of 3,329, it was the Gray team that opened the scoring as running back Djouvensky Schlenbaker plunged over the goal line from 1-yard out to cap a 13-play, 88-yard drive. The Crimson team immediately replied on its next possession, capping a 3-play, 75-yard drive as Jenkins gathered a bad snap and rushed up the middle from 14-yards out to even the score.
