Coward Named WCC Player of the Week

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State men's basketball senior Cedric Coward was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week, the Conference announced Monday morning. Coward scored a career-high 30 points in last Monday's win over Northern Colorado, adding 22 points in the Cougars' win over Eastern Washington, Thursday in Spokane.

In the Nov. 18 contest against the UNC Bears, Coward matched a Division-I career-high with 30 points, after setting his career-high with 30 points last season against Northern Colorado. Coward became the first Coug with 30 points in a game since Myles Rice scored 35 at Stanford, Jan.
