COLTON, Wash. (April 5, 2025) – The Washington State women's rowing team won the 1V4 race Saturday afternoon as they hosted Oregon State for the 25th Winchell Cup.
WSU also celebrated senior day, honoring the team's nine seniors after racing concluded.
The Cougars bested the Beavers in the 1V4, racing in a time of 7:18.05, four seconds ahead of second-place OSU.
WSU raced close the rest of the day, placing second in the 1V8 in 6:22.86 behind OSU (6:14.44), and second in the 2V8 (6:41.05).
The day opened with OSU winning the 3V8+/4V8+ race in 6:55.
