In Case You Missed It
PULLMAN, Wash. – For the first time in 2021 Washington State (3-1-1) found itself on the wrong side of the ledger falling 2-1 to Seattle U (5-1-1) Thursday night at Lower Soccer Field. The loss was especially hard to swallow for the Cougs who dominated the stat sheet, outshooting the Redhawks 25-6 on the night including putting 10 shots on goal and another off the crossbar in the second half. After a scoreless first period, the Cougs saw the opening tally of the game come in the 56' when junior finished off a brilliant one-timer into the side-netting from the top of the 18 for her first career goal at WSU.
