SAN DIEGO, Calif. (December 19, 2024) – Washington State women's basketball rolled to a 65-42 victory over San Diego to open league play Thursday night.
The Cougars (6-6, 1-0 WCC) had 10 different scorers on the night, with four in double-figures, while connecting for nine threes as a team.
On the defensive end, WSU matched a program record with 14 blocks to go with seven steals.
Tara Wallack paced the team in the scoring column with 13 points, going 6-of-12 from the floor with five rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
Eleonora put up 12 points, and a pair of rebounds while Charlotte Abraham had 10 points and five boards.
