LAS VEGAS – Closing out the 2018-19 season in the first round or the Pac-12 Tournament, Washington State (9-21) came up short for the second-straight game against Cal (19-11) as the Bears advanced to day two with a 77-58 win Thursday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. In a game that played out in similar fashion to the regular season finale four days prior, the Cougs could not overcome a pair of dry spells on the offensive end of the court that allowed the Bears to pull away for the victory.
