BETHEL, Ohio – The No. 18-ranked Washington State rowing team capped off the two-day Big Ten Invitational on a strong note, as the first varsity eight boat posted the seventh-fastest time in the 15-team regatta, while the varsity four boat finished Sunday, April, 18, with the event's eighth-best time.
The No. 18 Cougars were paired up against a trio of top-20 teams in Sunday morning's races on Harsha Lake. WSU squared off against No. 11 Rutgers, No. 12 Indiana and No. 20 Syracuse to conclude its two-day, nine-race weekend at the Big Ten Invitational.
The first varsity eight boat was in a tightly-contested battle for second place in its heat against No.
