Cougs put on the pads for the first time of fall camp

WSU completed day three of fall camp on Sunday and with day three came the debut of padded practices. Which also meant the return of bull in the ring.

One of the big stories of spring football was move of wide receiver Kassidy Woods to inside receiver. Woods received plenty of praise from Mike Leach for his transition during spring. It appears that move is still paying dividends.

The Cougs already had plenty of weapons at the skill positions. Adding another factor in Woods — a type of player the Cougs haven’t really had at inside receiver — is going to be a problem for defenses.
