MADISON, Wis. – The Washington State women's golf team shaved three-strokes off its first-round score at the 2021 Badger Invitational Tuesday, Sept. 20, as the Cougars carded three-over par; 291 in the second round to move up to third place heading into Wednesday's final round.
WSU enters tomorrow's final round just six strokes behind first-place Wisconsin and four-strokes shy of second-place Old Dominion. The Cougars have carded at 12-over-par; 585 through two rounds at the 2021 Badger Invitational.
Freshman Madelyn Gamble led the way for WSU in the second round, as the Pleasant Hill, California native shot a career-best four-under par; 68.
