PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State men's and women's track and field teams had multiple top-five finishes in split-squad action on Saturday, Jan. 29, as the Cougars competed against some of the nation's best at the New Mexico Team Open in Albuquerque, New Mexico and the UW Invitational in Seattle. The Cougs sent their sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers and throwers down to the Albuquerque Convention Center to compete in the New Mexico Team Open. It was the first time in two seasons that WSU has sent athletes to the New Mexico Open.
