STOCKTON, Calif. - The Washington State men's golf team had four golfers card under par in the second round of the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational Friday, October 21, as the Cougars finished the round in a tie for fifth place. WSU shot 3-under; 281 during its second go-around at the Stockton Country Club and heads into the final round with a team score of 10-under; 558.
Freshman Sam Renner posted his career-best 18-hole score in Friday's second round, as he shot 3-under; 68 in a bogey-free second round. The Bend, Oregon native collected his second under-par score at the Visit Stockton Invitational, while it is his third under-par round of the fall.
