The Washington State baseball team hasn’t exactly come crashing out of the gates to open the season. They’re currently 7-14 overall and 3-5 in the Pac-12. Only Utah’s 5-20 overall record is worse.
But the last two nights have been exciting. Both ended in walk-off wins at Bailey-Brayton Field against the Arizona State Sun Devils.
Danny Sinatro was the hero last night, sending a line drive to center field to score J.J. Hancock from second and give WSU a 4-3 win in 11 innings.
Scotty Sunitsch went 7.2 innings with seven strikeouts.
