LOS ANGELES -- Washington State found scoring in the field events Saturday at the 85th annual for men and 29th annual for women Pac-12 Track & Field Championships at UCLA’s Drake Stadium.
A trio of Cougar men’s javelin throwers scored in that event Saturday. Kyle Stevens (redshirt senior, Snoqualmie, Wash.) took fifth place with a throw of 215-feet 11 inches (65.81m). Sam Ferenchak (senior, Vancouver, Wash.) placed seventh (206-0/62.79m) and Brad Stevens (redshirt freshman, Snoqualmie, Wash.) was eighth (205-8/62.69m). Cole Smith finished 10th with a season-best toss of 197-10 (60.31m).
