Cougs Fall at BYU

PROVO, Utah – The Washington State women's basketball team had its four-game losing streak come to an end Saturday, Dec. 18, as the Cougars opened their two-game, cross-country road trip this weekend with a 71-53 loss at No. 20/22 BYU.

Sophomore Charlisse Leger-Walker scored a game-high 21 points, but that wasn't enough to lift WSU past the No. 20/22-ranked team in the country. Leger-Walker hit a career-high six 3-point field goals to help the Cougars connect on a season-high 13 shots from behind the arc.

Senior Ula Motuga recorded her first double-double of the season against the Cougars of BYU.
