Cougs Complete Comeback against Boise State

PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State women's basketball team used a strong second-half performance against Boise State on Sunday, Dec. 12, as the Cougars erased a double-digit deficit for the second-straight game to pick up a 62-55 win over the Broncos in Beasley Coliseum.

The Cougs trailed Boise State by as many as 10 points early in the third quarter, as the Broncos held a 39-29 lead with 9:17 remaining in the frame. WSU started on the comeback trail from that point, as the Cougars used a 27-8 run over the next 15-plus minutes of game time to take a 56-47 lead with 6:15 remaining in the fourth quarter.
