Cougs Card Even Par Through 18 Holes at Golfweek Red Sky Classic

WOLCOTT, Colo. – The Washington State women's golf team shot an even par; 288 in the first round of the Golfweek Red Sky Classic, as the Cougars ended the day sitting in a three-way tie for eighth place with Rutgers and Delaware.

Senior Darcy Habgood led the way for WSU on the first day of the Golfweek Red Sky Classic, as the Australian native shot one-under par; 71. Habgood will open the second round in a tie for 24th on the player leaderboard.

Freshman Madelyn Gamble and senior Amy Chu each carded an even par; 72 in the first round to end the day in a tie for 37th.
