PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State soccer team defeated Eastern Washington, 3-1, in an exhibition match at WSU’s Lower Soccer Field, Sunday night.
“It’s good to get the win,” Cougar Head Coach Todd Shulenberger said. “We came out and scored a couple of nice goals. I wasn’t happy with the goal we gave up, but overall it was good to get everyone minutes. We’ll get back to the drawing board and get ready for next Friday.”
The Cougars scored early with a goal in the seventh minute, before following with a game-winning goal in the 16th minute.
