LIHUE, Hawaii – The Washington State men’s golf team is tied for fourth with UNLV entering the third and final round of play at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate, Thursday, at Wailua Golf Club.
“It was a solid round for us today,” WSU Head Coach Garrett Clegg said. “We really struggled to capitalize on our birdie opportunities. Hopefully tomorrow we will be able to perform on the par 5’s.”
WSU (+5, 581) continues to hold its own with a competitive field. No. 7 Texas leads the tournament at 16-under par (560), followed by California (-9, 567) and Texas A&M (+1, 577), in second and third place, respectively.
