EUGENE, Ore. – The Washington State women's soccer team (9-5-4, 2-4-4) tied the Oregon Ducks (0-15-3, 0-9-1), 2-2, Sunday afternoon from Papé Field. The Cougars drew their third straight match, as WSU sophomore Peyton Price scored her first career goal and assisted on Margie Detrizio's eighth goal of the season.
The Cougars conceded the early lead in the 4th minute when the Ducks earned their first corner kick of the match. Oregon cycled the set piece around to the top of the box and lofted a ball into the far post. WSU junior goalkeeper Nadia Cooper left her line to punch the ball clear, but Oregon's Ryann Reynolds got her head to the service first and finished the early goal.
