WSU captured the Fawley Cup for the 25th time with its victory in the varsity eight race.
PULLMAN, Wash. – With a victory in the varsity eight race, Washington State rowing held on to the Fawley Cup for the third-straight year and 25th time all-time as the Cougars defeated Gonzaga in all five races in dual action Sunday at Wawawai Landing on the Snake River.
"For us to sweep Gonzaga, it's not something that happens every time we race, and it was nice that every single senior was successful in their last race on the Snake River.
